Welcome here we are in October already. Who stole the rest of the year where has it gone! Paul and I are so glad that you could make it here today . Come on in we have the coffee and the cakes all ready the heaters are on and the Marquee is all warmed up. The sofas and armchairs all have their cushions all plumped up! So go on spoil yourselves we have stocked up on hot chocolate now and brought in some good books for you to read too! I can hear Paul has all his guest here many of whom you will know so lets see, what have you been up to this week.IF
WE WERE HAVING COFFEE: I’d tell you it has been another busy week here. My sister has been into hospital and had an operation I have been very concerned for her but I am very glad to tell you all that the operation has been a success and she is now recuperating at home, taking things easy and doing her physio! Actually I do not know what to make of my sisters ! Another one is recovering from shingles and pleurisy together, yes together she never does anything by halves! My eldest sister not to left out is having heart problems I really need a magic wand to make then all better! OH! I have two brothers too and one of then is having serious problems with his leg! As far as I know brother number two is doing okay and on a holiday! ( Vacation to our American and Canadian friends)
IF WE WERE HAVING COFFEE: I would ask if any of you remember Cat Forsley she had a blog on wordpress . She is a music maker and is in a musical partnership with Ashton Price known as “The City Rumbles Underneath “ they have made several videos . Cat stopped her blog a while back because she was so busy with music and commitments that she just could not cope , I kept her email address and kept in touch occasionally. Well imagine my delight when Wednesday morning while I was at the gym I looked up at the screen and saw ” The City Rumbles Underneath” Hearts Expire come up on the screen. I was so excited I stopped my treadmill and rushed over to tell some of the friends also at the gym that I know that singer I know Cat!
I emailed her and told her the news she was delighted and she also said they were having more success over her in the UK than in their home Canada.

IF WE WERE HAVING COFFEE : I would tell you that I had a good afternoon on Thursday visiting a friend who was at home doing a 4 day dog sitting stint for her son while he was away . We spent a lovely afternoon chatting and looking after this charming if not huge chap! He kept us very busy demanding we play ball with him! Such a lovely dog only one problem he likes to nibble, your arms, your legs! Only gentle tiny nibbles but at 20 months old and with sharp teeth he did manage to bruise my arm!
