EvDaDaDec : 13/12/2 Little Mae and Polar Bear

The child  suddenly  felt  the warmth of  love , it covered  him like the snow falling  from above.

He watched Mae  his  sister sleep , he  felt safe  enough to with Mae  and Polar  bear  keep.

He  heard  the Winter Queen’s bears gently  growling . He  felt love sing to him  through the winters  howling.

Comfy  nestled in Polar’s  fur  he felt  safe and without a care

Gently of a sudden  Mae  awoke  she smiled  and to the  lost child  spoke.

What is it little one ,you must know  what has  gone on.

Did  the Witch , you mother tell you what she had  done.

Did  she own to the killings  before  she up and fled and was gone.

You  have lost  your  father too,  do not fear I shall take care  of you.

Come  and  cuddle  me  and I shall sing  you a lullaby

Let us  be  happy together  no need for fear  no  need to cry.

And  so as all the others  slept Mae  sang  to her  little brother

The  two now bound in  great  sorrow  now  vowed  to help each other.

Until the morning we leave them  to sleep.

Awe, what a touching story Willow. You know this happens among siblings even if the parents doesn’t stay gone… there are so many kids whose parent’s come and go. You wrote this so beautifully and I love the picture and song as well. Enya has always been a favorite of mine!

Daniel is so strong, fit, well, not into negatives, his friends seem positive, I am stunned, Willow. I am stunned. I am proud. I always though pride before a fall and so never was proud out loud. So quietly I look at him and I see him on path, and personally victor not victim of situs and I feel so deeply glad. He could have become such a ruin, Willow, from what we went through. He could easily have become a delinquent. Yet he didn’t. He must have decided that inside himself. I love what I see of him, & I’m proud.

I do feel though, when finally he leaves home & it’s the cat & me, it will be so quiet, this place, so quiet…

I am so pleased to hear that , there is nothing so beautiful as a mother’s pride. I pray Daniel continues on this course. If he is the man you know he is he will not leave you high and dry! ……….. and you know it! xxxxxx
