EvDaDaDec My day at Swan Lake

Up  early can’t  be late

This is the culmination of months of wait.

Sorting clothes what to wear it seems a strain.

Hurry make your mind up  we can’t  miss that  train.

Six of us  travelling up to town

On the train then underground!

We walked about  a mile

Had  lunch in a great pub..that made us smile.

Come girls hurry hurry

I want  to get to the ballet.

OH! my  what wonderful seats

So wonderful to watch those fleet  feet!

Mathew Bourne’s Swan Lake.

Homeward  bound, happy  and tired

All our senses have been fired!

Six  Ladies  been to town

Seen the Ballet … not  let down!

What a treat! Thanks for sharing! I’m so glad you had such a grand time. I think the anticipation of these performances is so much fun in itself. I’m be attending a performance in a couple of months of traditional Chinese dance. I went last year, and it was awesome! Can’t wait to go again! 🙂

There is a reason why Bourne is critically acclaimed… Nice post!

Thank you for the front row seat. 🙂 Beautiful. I love that hand motion at the very end of the clip. Sigh.
