I am the tree witch I am hiding in the forest green I move by stealth I blend in and I am rarely seen.
I am waiting to trap a soul, it is something I must do. Over the years I have stolen quite a few. My hair is long and lustrous and really very strong, it can catch you and entrap you as quick as a whip’s thong.
I have roots growing out from my feet and spreading from my hem, leaves spread from fingers and from my backbone stem thrice fold pairs of arms. If you look close enough I will bewitch you with my charms.
My eyes are deftly painted to show off their emerald green my lips are always blood red well another colour would be obscene.
I have a lighted candle in my third left hand my way to light, I have seen you about your business and I have come for you tonight.
I know you are not too special but I have watched you in your room at night, alone with computer and your mind in fantasy’s flight. You long for a Vampire to relieve you of your soul you seem to think that one of my cousins would make your sad life whole.
I have thought this over I have listened to your prayers , I have lingered by your window and taken in your every word. There is something about you, something that I like so I have decided you will endure no Vampires bite.
So look out your window and see my candles’ light, come out my little human soul have no fear I shall treat you right. You will be so much better off with me than in a Vampires lair just look out your window and see my candle light is there.
AH! at last you see me, curiosity in your eyes. That is right my darling make your way to me for you my body cries. At last you are so near to me I catch your human scent come close now my darling my love for you I must vent.
At last you are within my reach, come nearer to the candle yes closer, closer my darling no need to be gentle my branches will not break. I have you now my darling I own your soul I have waited aeons for a man to make me whole!
To hint that her green eyes are unsettling would be an out and out lie.
To misunderstand her looks would be a debasement. Her face was so thin and her velvety skin could bring a tear to your eye.
She fell from heaven with a bump,
scattering the cats and dogs that were foraging the municipal dump.
As she sat there rubbing her knee
the last of the homeless stared at her unable to believe what he could see.
Huge pearl drop tears fell from her eyes, sobs falling from her mouth.
Hand to her mouth she determinedly tried
to crush the screams that showed her she had survived.
The only witness to her arrival stepped forward offering her a slug of whiskey to celebrate her survival!
Unsteadily she rose to her feet she took the old man’s flask and emptied it complete.
Unsteadily she crossed the waist ground,
the crunching of glass under her feet and the sharp in take of breath from on lookers was the only sound.
The weather was cold and it was dark and starting to sleet she borrowed a tired workman’s mobile and she began to tweet !
Early arrival for Armageddon today should I just keep quiet

The name Halloween (originally spelled Hallowe’en) is a contraction of All Hallows Even,
meaning the day before All Hallows Day (better known today as All Saints Day),
a Catholic holiday commemorating Christian saints and martyrs observed since the early Middle Ages on November 1.
I was so appalled by this and my disbelief that humanity has sunk so low caused me to investigate this story. I am sad to say that this is a true story and I have signed the petition . Dear God Almighty what have we come to? I am reblogging this to spread the word! Thank you Bear for alerting us all.
The Raven, Nevermore Written by Edgar Allan Poe
read by Sir Christopher Lee.
The Common Raven has coexisted with humans for thousands of years and in some areas have been so numerous that they are considered a pest. Part of its success comes from its omnivorous diet; Common Ravens are extremely versatile and opportunistic in finding sources of nutrition, feeding on carrion, insects, cereal grains, berries, fruit, small animals, and food waste.
Some notable feats of problem-solving have been observed in the species, leading to the belief that it is highly intelligent. Over the centuries, it has been the subject of mythology, folklore, art, and literature. In many indigenous cultures, including those o fScandinavia, ancient Ireland and Wales, Bhutan, the northwest coast of North America, and Siberia and northeast Asia, the Common Raven has been revered as a spiritual figure or god. To a Mouse , by Robert Burns, read by Sean Barrett – an English actor with a Scott’s background.

The term tarantella groups together a number of different folk dances characterized by a fast upbeat tempo,
usually in 6/8 time (sometimes 18/8 or 4/4), accompanied by tambourines.
It is among the most recognized forms of traditional southern Italian music. The specific dance-name varies with
every region, for instance tammurriata in Campania, pizzica in the Salento region, Sonu a ballu in Calabria.
Tarantella is popular in Southern Italy.
In the Italian Taranto, Apulia, the bite of a locally common type of wolf spider, named “tarantula” after the region,
was popularly believed to be highly poisonous and to lead to a hysterical condition known as tarantism.
This became known as the Tarantella. The oldest documents mentioning the relationship between musical exorcism and the
tarantula are dated around 1100 Bc. R.Lowe Thompson proposed that the dance is a survival from a “Dianic or Dionysiac
cult”, driven underground.John Compton later proposed that these ancient Bacchanalian rites had been suppressed by the
Roman Senate. In 186 BC the tarantula went underground, reappearing under the guise of emergency therapy for bite victims.

The Snake Queen – Bollywood Bellydance by Asha
Snakes are elongated, legless, carnivorousreptiles of the suborder Serpentes that can be distinguished from legless lizardsby their lack of eyelids and external ears. Like all squamates, snakes are ectothermic, amniotevertebrates covered in overlapping scales. Many species of snakes have skulls with many more joints than their lizard ancestors, enabling them to swallow prey much larger than their heads with their highly mobile jaws. To accommodate their narrow bodies, snakes’ paired organs (such as kidneys) appear one in front of the other instead of side by side, and most have only one functional lung. Some species retain a pelvic girdle with a pair of vestigial claws on either side of the cloaca. learn more

A monkey is a primate of the Haplorrhini suborder and simian infraorder, either an Old World monkey or a New World monkey, but excluding apes (including humans). There are about 260 known living species of monkey. Many are arboreal, although there are species that live primarily on the ground, such as baboons. Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent. Unlike apes, monkeys usually have tails. Tailless monkeys may be called “apes”, incorrectly according to modern usage; thus the tailless Barbary macaque is called the “Barbary ape”. Learn more

The Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) is a large owl of the typical owlfamily Strigidae. The Snowy Owl was first classified in 1758 byCarolus Linnaeus, the Swedish naturalist who developed binomial nomenclature to classify and organize plants and animals. Until recently, it was regarded as the sole member of a distinct genus, as Nyctea scandiaca, but mtDNAcytochrome bsequence data (Olsen et al. 2002) shows that it is very closely related to the horned owls in the genus Bubo. However the recent view is to treat the species as a member of genus Nyctea.[2] The Snowy Owl is the official bird of the Canadianprovince of Quebec. It is also widely sought after by birdwatchers and nature-enthusiasts alike. Learn more
I love Joanie Mitchelle !! Coyote
The coyote appears often in the tales and traditions of Native Americans—usually as a very savvy and clever beast.
Modern coyotes have displayed their cleverness by adapting to the changing American landscape. These members of the
dog family once lived primarily in open prairies and deserts, but now roam the continent’s forests and mountains.
They have even colonized cities like Los Angeles. Learn more

The Horse : The horse (Equus ferus caballus) is one of two extant subspecies of Equus ferus, or the wild horse.
It is an odd-toed ungulate mammal belonging to the taxonomic family Equidae. The horse has evolved over the
past 45 to 55 million years from a small multi-toed creature into the large, single-toed animal of today.
Humans began to domesticate horses around 4000 BC, and their domestication is believed to have been widespread
by 3000 BC. Horses in the subspecies caballus are domesticated, although some domesticated populations live in the wild
as feral horses. These feral populations are not true wild horses, as this term is used to describe horses that have
never been domesticated. Learn more

Hominidae, and the only extant species of the genus Homo. Humans are distinguished from other primates by their
bipedal locomotion, and especially by their relatively larger brain with its particularly well developed neocortex,
prefrontal cortex and temporal lobes, which enable high levels of abstract reasoning, language, problem solving, and
culture through social learning. Humans use tools to a much higher degree than any other animal, and are the only
extant species known to build fires and cook their food, as well as the only known species to clothe themselves and
create and use numerous other technologies and arts. The scientific study of humans is the discipline of anthropology.
