Mother Love (Acrostic)

Mother love is selfless and deeper than the

Ocean, boundless and undemanding  always

There when you need it. No judgement or side taken

However far or expensive to pocket or heart. Love is

Everlasting, open handed  and without question.

Ready always to be sweep in and  scoop you up and love you.

Loyal and true always at the end of a phone

Open minded to your problems never judging or

Vengeful unless called to be on your behalf

Even though you may not deserve it , it’s there Mother Love.

I was just telling a friend I spent yesterday 6+ hours at 4 football games sitting on hard bleachers, splinters and warped, some broke, trying not to pinch my legs or rear end in the broken places …my granddaughter ( she didn’t want to be a cheerleader this year but play )plays football as well as my grandson, there teams won….and they both had a part in the wins…( they love playing defense taking the front lines out)
anyway I told him what we sacrifice in life’s comforts for our children’s children as well as them…equal treatment…
I was joking but then I realize parents especially moms do that everyday …
though being a grandma is much more laid back…
    A great post Willow…true true true!….
Thank you ….for being you and writing real….
    Take Care…You Matter
