Life Line

My temperature is quickly rising I hate flying in this cramped cigar case so stress is not surprising!

There is someone next to me a woman who looks like a gypsy!

She is making  me nervous watching my every move. I think she may be tipsy!

She grabbed my hand and looked me earnestly in the eyes

Let me tell your fortune she gushed, okay I said ..well she took me by surprise.

I see a load of trouble , she said  and whats more I see you smoking a hubabubble

I hope that  is legal, the police here have eyes like eagles  if you’re not careful you’ll get into trouble.

The airplane takes a sudden dip so she my shoulders did grip.

Do you live a blameless life, are you a good wife…. then she grabbed my  drink and took a giant sip.

The plane began to level out but she began to scream and shout , she saw nothing  but trouble in store for me

She still had hold of my hand and said though short my life line was truly grand. I needed to get away from her I needed to be free.

The rattle of the drinks trolley pushed by an aging trolley dolly rested her attention, she hissed ,”she looks ready for her pension”

I asked her to release my wrist , unhand me I insist . Stop it, let go I hissed, desist! But she would not listen. I could not get her attention.

Finally as we came in to land she at last relinquished my hand. She looked me in the eye , you’ll do fine  she said with a sigh.

The stewardess made sure all seat belts were secure . Then as we touched down she looked at me and frowned  never again fly

Just keep out the sky  she began to weep and cry. Then I could take no more and I bashed her head against the door

Shut up I scream at her  my feelings began to stir . I told her if she wanted a long life line she would do just fine to shut up and say no more.
