The sun shines warm and strong

The washing on the line dances, it will be dry before long!

The birds are twittering and singing

Bees around the flowers buzzing  gently, no thought of stinging.

Children are playing along the road, they must be home from school.

Time , time  my enemy always too fast, too slow never anybody’s fool.

I feel rested in the sun , relaxed maybe this is a new journey I have begun

Nothing to worry about anymore, nothing to rush for, nothing to come.

Gently things begin to fade, is this it or is just that I am lying in the shade

No I can no longer move , here comes the silent  peace I crave.

I am happy that there will be no more treatment or  pain

I am sorry for those who I love that will have to remain.

The sun shines warm and strong

The washing on the line dances it will be dry before long!

The birds are twittering and singing

Bees around the flowers buzzing  gently no thought of stinging.

I hope  they will not think me selfish, I could really fight no more

Here comes death to claim me and I feel safe as he leads me to his door.

Peace, peace  no pain, no needles  no scans  no sad sad smiles

I am going now, I love you all and I shall be here but  not seen, loving you  all the while……………….

Just a little explanatory  word. I wrote this poem this afternoon, I do not know where it came from I just wrote it. It is about a person dying peacefully of some disease  say Cancer. I have not known any of my lost friends who have passed this way  but I wish  it could be like this . I wish death could of been gentle for them and for all of us ……….. please.

Your thoughts for a pain free passing for someone
who has already suffered enough is very nice Willowdot 🙂

Very nicely expressed. You have the gift of expressing those feelings and emotions which most of us are reluctant to try since we are not sure whether we will do justice to them or not. It is a unique gift my friend to so deeply put yourself in a situation and to be able to express the inner most feelings of that person. Keep inspiring us. Take care.

Never ever give up on the spontaneous creativity, and I can see this great gift which you have. Keep writing and your form of writing is a unique form of art, very few people have this gift. Take care.

Don’t worry about getting into trouble. If you have read the history of literature writers who had a unique style and wrote passionately about things they felt appealed to them, first they were were criticized but eventually they were worshiped and admired. Nervier be part of a crowd, always try to stand out, was the lesson my literature teachers taught me

I understand your desire and if there’s any consolation to offer… my sister had great amounts of pain but, it had the sweetest effects on her and, taught me true heroism ~there truly are purposes we can’t understand yet. You’re a beautiful soul.

soft…the feeling is so soft as the words you gave voice too…
Beautiful Willow….as I wish too for such gentle passings….
    Take Care…You Matter…

Death could be the door to freedom from so many things — yet most fear it and cling to —- life!

This kind of reminds me of Emily Dickenson’s Because I Could Not Stop for Death.

I think if you reduce the amount of words in it, you can make it a stronger poem. Though, I like it just the same.

Willow…this is exactly what “Inviolate” is about. She was like a sister to me.
