Oh! she was so pretty Oh! she really was so fair.
With sparkling eyes and rosy cheeks and raven black hair.
Slight of figure but huge of heart she has so much to give.
Arthur fell under her spell, he knew he would love her for ‘ere long they both would live.
As she coyly looked his way her eyes sheltered by her lustrous lashes.
She knew at once he’d be her king, she knew by the way her heart was leaping into dashes.
Arthur too was smitten as he had watched her arrival with glee
For Guinevere was by far the most beautiful girl he had or would ever see.
Her Farther gladly gave her hand in marriage to king Utha’a son
Both fathers were relieved for in this union their uniting of England was finally done.
All of Arthur’s knights were assembled to honour the new queen
Row on row of knights, armor shining flags flying. It was a joyous scene.
Among their ranks was Lancelot his eyes shining green
Looking upon Guinevere the most desirable woman he’d ever seen.

Just a moment while I polish this armour 🙂
What an incredible posting Willowdot, it has
the beauty of Guinevere and the romanticism
of knights in shining armour 🙂 I like it a lot 😉
Have a lovely weekend
and be good, if you like? 🙂

I am glad you like this Andro I started with Vivian ( the lady of the Lake) and I shall be working through all the characters to tell the tale. Arthur needs to enroll his knights of the round table. If you like I could put in a good word for you. Have a lovely weekend! 😉 xx

’tis a lovely romantic poem Willow, describing so well the beginning of a tragic love triangle. I have ever been enthralled with the Arthurian Legend, especially Merlin of course, HE for me is the hero, the Mage. the Maester. Hope you enjoyed the Quiche, as I enjoyed the Wine, (hic-ety hic!! h’under the influence? Moi’? Never!! 🙂 ) Hugs aplenty. xPenx
