Tablets
Tablets
lozenge shaped
white and round
they lift me up
smashed.

Tired
Tired
drooping low
muscles aching pain
all over me so
tired.

Depression
Depression
sinking falling
dragging me down
loosing my senses crawling
evil, cruel depression.

I like the abstract simplicity of these Willow – you’ve got a kind of unraveling thing going on in the rhythm which works with the subject matter. Yes, I do like.

Thanks Holly, I do love to try new things and I can’t resist a challenge! I really appreciate what you have said because I am such a fan of your work and if don’t always praise it , it is because I don’t want you to think “OMG it’s that weirdo again” 😉 seriously though I did like these and I tried to keep them simple and in rhythm and to the point.

definitely to the point, Sweet Willow, ..describing so well the downward spiralling hold depression has on us… At one time I was held totally in it’s thrall, and the ‘dark cloud’ as I name it sometimes returns without warning, ’tis a difficult emotion to explain but you have managed it… … warm hugs to you my friend. xPenx
