Can you see the view

Can you see the view from here.

Beautiful but not permanent I fear.

Green leaves, clear waters and animals in the trees

leave it as it is, keep it safe please.

Stop the rape, stop the pillage, stop the industrial clearance.

We need this green to make oxygen for us to breath.

We need to fight in earths defense.

Listen to me I am shouting timely warnings to the deaf.

Is this really what you want to see

I don’t know about you but it is not for me.

The jungle and rain forest cut down  and burned

So many chances wasted and lessens unlearned

Well I really don’t know how you feel

But this dark vision of the future could be real .

I really do not want to loose Mother Earth.

But we will and soon  if we don’t realize what she is worth.

Can you see the view from here.

Beautiful but not permanent I fear.

Green leaves, clear waters and animals in the trees

leave it as it is, keep it safe please.

we do need to heed the warnings, Willow, . and your words underline the fact beautifully… This Earth of ours needs protecting from man and his size ten boots.. and greedy thoughts of what he can use instead of how he can nurture… xPenx

Hurting the land can only hurt ourselves. We are part of the larger whole, no matter how much we try to deny it.

And I thank you for the post, it is my pleasure to share it. I am amazed that so much that is around us is never seen by some many folks. This earth is our home shared with all other living things, that is what is important, I’m grateful for the few that realize it and grateful that you have given it the beautiful words that express it. Thanks Jon

Isn’t it strange how so many people just take take and never think to replenish or replace. I have written lots of poems on the subject. I just hope and pray that we all come to our senses before it is too late
