And Yet You Love Us Still

You are old now and you are tired Your body raped and parts of you burned and fired.Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

You were young once golden and new greener than green, seas and rivers running blue.Young then younger than time fresh and pristine then unlike now choked up , dirty and covered in grime.

Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

What promise you had though, when brand new you graced the heavens before we gouged you out and burnt your soul and all things bad upon you wrought.

Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

You felt the thaw of ice ages then felt them come again, strange and huge beast wandered over your plains, you saw  man arrive and you watched his growing pains. You nursed us gently as we as humans grew. Sadly, we ungrateful, turned on you.

Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

How beautiful fresh and new were you when only wild beasts and flowers grew when storms were all that raged and and man had not yet started his cruel selfish rampage.

All of  you was fresh and new and you had such great things to do. Now we have dragged all that is good from you. We have laid you waste, you can no longer start anew.

Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

Sadly we have pushed you toward your end , we were ungiving , selfish we stole   we did not bend. We took from you and did not replace , we have fought wars across your body and we have scared your face.

Yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

Oh! Earth mother we have pulled you on at such an un-holy pace , you have tried to warn us but we have slipped through your fingers so far , now from grace.

Your end is nigh and and it is all our fault ……….. and  yet you love us still. You are patient with us now even though we treat you ill.

Life has an impact on our corp, but it enriches us in the file of the years,
Everyone finds his account simply to live well with time, especially never abused the good things, it’s kinda my motto, sometimes I digress this motto and I pay cache, I feel decreases, thing that should not be the case…
I wish you a good day best regards Patrick.,

I read this at the time and loved it, but with the tiny toddlers always around my focus was taken away.
    This is a beautiful blog.
How Earth is a living thing on its own, and we what we did to it.
The message is strong and easy to read.

I thought I would drop in an let you know, I loved this.

My reply could EASILY be a blog on its own. My Father often says “We are a bacteria on this wonderful earth” and also “He could cry for Humanity” And it took me time to grow up over the years to really understand what he meant.
Another time, we were walking, I was a kid, say 10 years old, and he stopped and said “wow look at that view” We live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and its beautiful sometimes seeing the sun set. This is what he was talking about. At that age I thought “What is he talking about” Now as I am in my late 30’s, I see this wonder and beauty. And I think we have been a bacteria, a bad one on Mother Earth. We have almost destroyed her. Greed and money have done it. I often share this video, I hope it is ok to share with you. It is 72 years in the making, and relevant even today

I love this video, it speaks of what COULD have been or may still be. Watch past him talking at the start and someone added new updated video. He talks about Greed and War and ignorance.

I hope you like this video. This video speaks to my heart, I hope it speaks to yours, and others.

Yeah, just a spark and I am there.
But sometimes it takes a friend to help light a fire.
