The Burden of Life

Carrying the burden of your life is hard. We all do so, be it grief, loss, guilt, greed, gluttony ,spite, jealousy need I go on? I could fill a whole page just with the feelings and actions we allow to to burden us down.

We all carry a burden there is no escape from it. I think it is written in the stars… we toil, we strive we fight to keep alive all that is good but the dark is always there waiting on the touch line.

Whenever you find a treasure or gain a small triumph there is always the big shadow that descends on you, everything is rested from you before you can get used to it.

We all travel through this vale of tears and vale of tears it can be. The sun rises on one side of the world as it goes down on the other. One person’s life  may look easy from the outside but no one knows what goes on inside that person’s life. No one can guess at the trials people have to survive day in day out.

Why do we go on , why do we get up and face the day. Because we do, we do it because we are human and it is human to carry on, not to give up not to give in.

I get so frustrated with some religious sects that tell people that if only we join them, life will be easier (and even prosperous). Yeah…. good luck with that. I’m not knocking faith. I’m just saying it is to help us through the struggles, not to avoid them.

Yes you have said in a few words what I have rambled on in that post to say. We have to travel this road, we just have to so we need to find a way and make the most of it! xx

We go on because in the end, we must, we are faced only with a deep corridor that reflects our greatest loves, fears and memories that chase us. We must stop, face it all, feel it all and ultimately by some power greater than ourselves alone…we must begin to heal it and stand. We learn to survive loss, pain, all that we insisted that we could never let go off. We let go. The heart sheds. We grow. We fall. We surrender. Something calls us to wake up and breathe. It is a wonder. Not everyone suffers the same, or at the same times or in the same ways. But the Heart falls like a blossom to the warm ground as it longs to experience Life. And this, This life experience includes suffering. I am just like all. There are so many kinds of suffering in this world. We each bear a bit of Its burden. To the core, we carry, the Tears of the World. But I believe that we, all of us are meant to live life to Heal. I believe that we are meant to find Peace in ourselves and in the world. This blossom, our Heart is a beautiful gift. I love you, Linda

of course this reminds me of the story, carrying your burdens, like a bucket of water, the longer you carry it the heavier it gets, so you have to set the bucket/burden down from time to time and rest before picking it back up to carry on. (~_~)
