Thirty pieces of silver

OH! what have I done it is irreversible it cannot be undone.

Thirty pieces of silver I tried  to return it they would not take would not take it I can’t unmake it.

OH! this empty feeling in my soul it is dragging me down and eating me whole.

OH! OH! what have I done. Have I betrayed he who has come to save man…… thirty pieces of silver is that all you were worth you the son of he who made the earth.

This pain in my heart is too hard to bear it hurts it hurts why did I do it what on earth lead me   there .

Thirty pieces of silver what have I done. I can no longer face anyone I cannot longer show my face I have fallen too far from grace. I am not worthy to feel the sun on my skin OH! why oh! why did I betray him he was so like a brother OH! why him and not another.

Thirty pieces of silver why oh why thirty pieces of silver I scream  at the sky  . No answer is there no answer this pains me too much I must die.

Thirty pieces of silver is that all you are worth he who had a virgin birth. OH brother Jesus you are worth more than this how low am I who betrayed you with a kiss.

Extremely effective modern interpretation of this Biblical story of Judas selling his Lord for 30 pieces of silver. Outstanding photo illustrations, dear willowdot–you have so many gifts! I congratulate and support all you say here most heartily!

I wanted to hit hard, it was very difficult to find a way to show what he had done and what he felt as the true enormity of his betrayal hit him. He killed himself, a sin in itself and yet after all he had done Jesus forgave him.
