fairy kiss, fairy wish.
For St Patrick’s day wishes to all who visit this page and all who don’t too!!
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again
may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

It is Mothers’ day in the UK so here is another Irish Blessing .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my mother who raised me at her breast.
And my father who raised me by the work of his bones.
I trust in the Son of God when they enter his presence,
That there will be a hundred thousand welcomes for them
In the heavens of peace.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

God Bless you all
and just for good measure
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
May your troubles be less
And your blessings be more
And nothing but happiness
Come though your door.
Wonderful blessings, Willow, thank you! (I’m familiar with the first. But not the lovely Mother’s Day one. We don’t celebrate that here until May, but I’ll remember it. 🙂 )
Beautiful poems I already knew but can never read too often! Begorrah, me dear gel! I am still fascinated that you in the UK celebrate Mother’s Day 2 full months before we do here in the U.S.! This gives me another reason to be so very grateful for my friends in the UK here in cyberspace!
