Mary and Jo part8

the children were whispering

The children were whispering, whispering the good news. They would go and visit soon in groups and maybe ones and twos! They were excited at the whisper of the imminent new birth they knew he was different but as yet they did not know his worth.

The adults were intrigued some of the teachers even got rather peeved no one was paying attention in class and all you got out of them was this story if you had a chance to ask? The grown ups should of listened more, but that is the grown ups’ way. They really should of listened as the children had so much of importance to say.

whispering the news

The children of the staff at the Hotel Delph had been the first to know a king was to be born. Yet not a king of worldly worth.

The grown ups tried to hide them from the children’s stare  but when Mares and Jo saw the children they were happy for them to be there. The staff thought this was lovely, yes it really was just great free child care all day everyday even if it was short term, especially at zero rate.

Now I know this may seem rather funny and I know it is not nice  but all the cockroaches , the rats and tiny mice all decided that while Mares and Jo were there they would disappear. The cleaners were delighted and so were the cooks they could not believe the fact that every where was sparkling every cranny and every nook.

fending off queries from herod.com

Our three astronomers where comfortable on their plane and Balthasar was fending off  herod.com again. This guy is becoming a nuisance this guy is bad for sure the way he had made them give their word they would inform him of their findings, and lay it at his door.

There was something unclean about him, something hard and mean they all thought that they would not do business or have dealings with him again!

Meantime at Herods office in Judia of all places, he was actually the guy who wanted everyone’s taxes and to know of all male births maybe now you can fill in the spaces. As I was saying at Herods’ HQ things were hotting up he decided to send spies out far and wide he did not want a new king who could get the populous on his side!

Back in David’s room, Mares and Jo were holding court the children had all brought their pets and Mares was delighted at what they had brought. There were dogs and cats and mice even a gerbil too and believe it or not a tiny pig I kid you not, it is true.
