My Newly Escaped Soul

Starry starry blue starry night

Watch out my darling, watch where you are, on the edge of the highest cliff surrounded completely  by the stars.

Mind where you put your feet now, be careful where you tread. These cliffs are prone to crumbling and if you fall from here you will be dead.

I love the dress my darling the midnight shade of blue. It makes it very hard to see which is sky and which is you.

You have a glow about you tonight it emanates from your eyes. They have that wicked winkle to match the myriad stars of the night time skies.

Tread carefully my darling do watch where you go your dress is cut so low and it really looks like snow. The rocks are already crumbling they they fall like April rain  take care my love for if you follow you will not get up again.

Please come to me my darling, my newly escaped soul your not long back from the hairdressers so I like you stay whole. This place is not safe for either of us I hate to have to say that neither of us can fly and if anybody tells you different, my darling they just lie.

The Christmas Tree

waiting to come in

Sitting the garden , he’s been there all year, waiting and growing happily and now his time is nearly here. He has been moved from the rockery to the patio he is so excited for his next move will be back indoors you know!!

He is patiently waiting in the freezing cold, wind and rain for his second chance to be decorated again! Last year he so bedazzled us we were all fair speechless and soon he will be resplendent  all decked out in his Christmas completeness!

Will it be tomorrow or will it be Saturday no one really knows the answer is hard to say! He already looks so lovely his beautiful bluey, green I really think that he is the bestest tree I have ever seen.

Mary and Jo part4

The start of the journey

Many people talk about her,  many people laughed, many people said she if thinks we believe this, she is just daft!

Her parents at first not sure that their daughter spoke the truth were most relieved when Jo turned up . Even with his odd story , he was a likeable youth.

After all the upset the tantrums and the tears everyone settled down and they all discussed their fears. The Little town of Nazareth was rife with gossips and with snipes none of them could swallow talk of angels and a virgin’s sinless life.

Time went on and Jo and Mares set up their home. Jo was a carpenter so he had loads of work Mares was a strong and gamely lass who had no mind to shirk.  Eventually their friends came around to their way of thinking and accepted that the child was special , angels had visited and the couple had not just been drinking.

The months went by as they do Mares and Jo’s relationship blossomed as Mares grew. The child inside her womb was active but in no hurry to arrive, yet that would be soon. Then the letter came telling Jo he had to return to Bethlehem to pay some taxes and fill in the census no if’s or buts he had to go. When he told Mares she said, this is all we need but never mind we have the trusty steed.

Their motor scooter was their trusty steed neither build for comfort or for speed! Mares parents were worried  they feared for their daughter and the babe but the letter meant they had to hurry. Mares asked Jo to sort their hotels which he did,…….. but too well!

They packed the things that they needed and with all family and friends well wishes heeded. They scooted off into the unknown followed by waves and kisses blown.
