Metronome Tick Tock

Sitting on the Piano top is the metronome

Guiding you unable to stop music in your home

Tick! Tock! Tick !Tock! you must never cease

Making music  as the notes bring you release

So in syncopating trance you are hypnotized

Tick! Tock ! your music is  highly prized.

Music is a guiding light and it leads you

Up  on to a new height, timing good and true

Bish bash! Bish bash hit those keys keeping music coming

you always have a crowd to please, high  low keep them humming

Great rhythm belting out hear that appreciative shout so

Bish bash! Hit those keys watch the metronome and follow.

Work day thoughts.

smile

Oh! my  God this hurts my toes  and my nose is itching  I have not eaten for so long that my stomach is truly bitching.

These hair extensions don’t feel safe we put them in, in such a hurry I had missed the bus through lack of sleep and the rest has been hurry scurry!

The Peacock feathers are scratching my bum I am actually red raw. To top it all I still feel sick from banging my elbow on the door.

watch my feet

Careful you are dropping me, how you expect me to balance at this angle I fail to see. Keep that smile up and don’t you slip in those tights you can’t afford to trip.

What on earth can I cook for dinner, I have to watch the calories, how I wish that there was  food to make grow you thinner. Will you watch out for my toes you are lucky there is an audience otherwise I would punch your nose!

help

Help I think that I am stuck, and they have all gone home , why is it always me with the bad luck? Breath in breath out gee! my back hurts and I hate these netty skirts!

It is all very well practising the dying swan and starving myself thin. No waist or hips or healthy tan my pale skin is wafer thin.Yet never mind I look the part, but boy do I fancy custard and apple tart.

Hold me tight

Yet again  you hold my fate. If you drop me it won’t be great . My back hurts already and bending like this makes me feel heady. If we can just get through this ballet I can go home and rest at the end of the day.

Oh! at last the curtain falls and we will just have one more curtain call. Then I can kick off my shoes stretch my toes let wind blow away my blues………. EWE! I’d love some chocolate.
