Very nice how to push the edge on this!

I also learned something — as I’m non-British, was only slightly familar with Guy Fawkes and never connected him to the line “remember the fifth of November” which for me was an unknown reference being made by John Lennon in his song, “Remember” — now all cleared up thanks to google:

Remember, remember the fifth of November
    Gunpowder, treason and plot
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot

Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, ’twas his intent
To blow up the King and the Parliament
Three score barrels of powder below
    Poor old England to overthrow
By God’s providence he was catched
With a dark lantern and burning match
    Holloa boys, holloa boys
    God save the King!
    Hip hip hooray!
    Hip hip hooray!

A penny loaf to feed ol’ Pope
A farthing cheese to choke him
A pint of beer to rinse it down
A faggot of sticks to burn him
Burn him in a tub of tar
Burn him like a blazing star
Burn his body from his head
Then we’ll say ol’ Pope is dead.
    Hip hip hooray!
    Hip hip hooray!

Yes that is a bloodthirsty little ditty. For some reason we always celebrate his plot being thwarted! Perhaps it should of been mourned? But hey every year there are bonfires, firework displays jacket potatoes hot soup and the underside injuries due to careless handling of fireworks!!

Always seek the positives my wickedly fine friend
and then all the negatives of a life are cast aside…

I hope everyone that had a bonfire night stayed safe…

Sometimes you can seek the positives for all you are worth but the negatives seem to have an unhappy knack of catching you when you least expect it! I hope your Nov 5th was wicked……………good! XX

Thanks I just thought I would just let my fingers guide me on that one after the idea popped into my head. I put the cleaner in because when I was in hospital last there was a lovely lady cleaner who always addressed me as “Lady” even though I told her my name. I hope you are safe after the 5th. xxxx

Wow. What a night! So many sound effects in this one…it reminds me of a comic book with no pictures. Well done! Very creative and action-packed 🙂
