After a violent thunderstorm last night.
With bolts of lightening that turned the dark light.
We ventured forth as knights and maids of old
To Angles Sur L’Anglin we set off so bold
Bewitched were we by nature and history.
With medieval town and fast river running free.
The castle ruins looked down on the town.
Such beautiful dwellings were there to be found.
Wondering round to see what there was to see
We found a special spot for tea.
Scones with cream and jam
Of cream teas I must admit I am a fan.
It did not take us long
Ere it arrived the treat was gone.
We three travellers set off merrily.
With photos galore and full of cream teas.
